2. IMPROVING YOUR SWING (PRACTICE MODE)

You can use Suunto G6 to improve your swing performance, for example, when you are learning a new swing technique or developing your old one. Suunto G6 analyzes your swing consistency and gives you information that helps you focus on improving certain aspects of your swing.

Swing information

Suunto G6 provides the following swing informa- tion:

TEMPO (T): indicates the duration (in seconds) of the swing, measured from club take-off to ball contact.

RHYTHM (R): indicates the duration of the down- swing compared to tempo. For example, if rhythm is 20%, the downswing takes one fifth of the tempo. You can also view rhythm as seconds (s/ s) instead of percentages.

LENGTH (L): indicates (in degrees) your back- swing length.

SPEED (S): indicates the calculated club head speed (either as kilometres or miles per hour). The speed is scaled according to the selected club. If no club is selected, the speed is calculated as if the selected club is a Driver.
