Using modes and menus

The Suunto G6 has 5 different modes for different features:

TIME: displaying time, date, stopwatch and alarms, changing general settings

GAME: using the Suunto G6 as a scorecard during a game

PRACTICE: viewing swing information and improving swing technique

TEST: taking a swing consistency test

MEMORY: viewing stored games, practices, tests, playing history and changing game settings

1.Use the UP/DOWN buttons to scroll between the 5 different modes.

2.When a mode is active, pressing ENTER either opens a menu (TIME, MEMORY) or starts the selected activity such as a new game or a practice session.

3.Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate the menus and ENTER to select an item from the menu.

TIP: You can move backwards in the menus by pressing the BACK/ALT but- ton.

Press and long press

The SELECT, BACK/ALT and ENTER buttons will perform different functions depending on how long you press them. A long press means that the button is pressed for more than 2 seconds. This manual says when a long press is required.

Key lock

You can use the key lock while in the Time mode. To activate or switch off:

1.Press ENTER.

2.Press SELECT within 2 seconds.

When the key lock is on, the

symbol is displayed.
