ppWhen both the main unit and the remote control have buttons with the same functions, this manual explains how to use either of them. The corresponding buttons can be used in the same manner.

aSTANDBY/ON button

Press this button to turn the unit on or put it in standby mode.

bCD/USB button

Use this button to select CD or USB mode.

Use to select playback of the CD or playback of the USB flash drive or iPod/iPhone connected to the iPod/USB port.

cNumber buttons

Use these buttons to select a track/file number.

For example, to select track/file number 25, press “2” first then “5”. To select numbers less than 10, press “0” and then the number. As an example, to select number 5, press “0” then “5”. (Optionally, you may press just the number “5” and wait for a few seconds.)

d1/ALL button

Use this button to select the repeat mode. (page 22)

eA-B button

Use this button to set the points for A-B repeat. (page 22)

fFOLDER buttons (b/5)

Use these buttons to select a folder of MP3/WMA files. (page 17)

gSEARCH buttons (m/,)

During playback, use these buttons to search for the part you want to listen to. (page 18)

hSHUFFLE button

Use this button for shuffle playback. (page 21)

iStop (H) button

Use this button to stop playback and recording.
