1To prevent a sudden high-level noise, turn the VOLUME knob counter - clockwise to minimize the volume.

2Turn the FUNCTION knob to select FM or AM.

<In FM mode the upper tuning indicator pointing to the FM frequency dial lights. In AM mode the lower tuning indicator pointing to the AM frequency dial lights.

3 Turn the TUNING knob to tune in a station.

4 Gradually turn up the volume to the required level by turning the VOLUME knob.

If the AM reception is poor,

turn the unit around to find the best position for AM stations. The AM antenna is built in within the cabinet so rotating the cabinet may improve the reception.

FM broadcast

For the best reception, rotate either the extendable antenna or the plug-in wire antenna until you get stations clearly.
