PLAYING MP3/WMA FROM A CD-ROM OR FLASH MEDIA
MP3/WMA MUSIC FILE COMPILATIONS

This unit will also play MP3/WMA music file compilations. These are normally created on a computer and saved to a CD- ROM, a USB Flash drive or SD Card.

File organisation:

The files on the CD-ROM or flash media may be organised in the following ways -

All music tracks stored in the ‘root’ directory of the CD- ROM/Flash Media. In this case, all tracks will be played in a numerical/alphabetical order.

Music tracks saved as albums into separate folders on the CD-ROM/Flash Media. In this case, each complete album will play in numerical/alphabetical order.

A compilation may also have a combination of the above with some tracks stored in the ‘root’ directory and some stored in album ‘folders’. In this case, the tracks in the ‘root’ directory will play first, followed by the albums, played in sequence.

NOTE: MP3 andWMA files may be mixed within a compilation. The player will switch automatically to play these as the format changes.
