Dishwasher setup

Water softening system

The dishwasher requires soft water to ensure proper washing results. Your appliance is equipped with an internal water softening system. However, if you have a household water softening system, you will not need to use this softening system.

The required amount of salt depends on the degree of hardness of your tap water (See table for more information).

For the water softening system to function properly, it will need to use

dishwasher water softener salt .The amount of salt dispensed can be set from “H:00” to “ H:07”. Salt is not required at H:00 (this is the default factory setting).

Open the door (for hidden controls only).

Turn the unit on using the ON/OFF button .

Hold down the [A] button and press START button until the display indicates “H:00”.

Release both buttons.

Press [B] to select the desired setting.

To change the setting,

Press [C] button to select desired setting.

Save the selected settings by pressing the START button.

Close the door (for hidden controls only).
