IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
◆Read all instructions before using the appliance.
◆Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles with care. Hot pads or oven mitts are recommended.
◆To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or sandwich maker in water or other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.
◆Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
◆This appliance is not for use by children.
◆Do not use appliance unattended.
◆Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before moving or cleaning the appliance.
◆Do not operate any damaged appliance. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer Service for return authorization, for examination, repair or adjustment.
◆When using this appliance, provide 4 to 6 inches air space above, behind, and on both sides for air circulation. Do not use on surfaces where heat may cause a problem.
◆Use attachments only if recommended by Toastmaster, Inc. to avoid risk of injuries.
◆Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
◆Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
