Polarized Plug

Some models have a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Grounded 3-Conductor Plug

Some models have a 3-prong grounded-type plug. This plug will only fit into an electrical outlet made for a 3-prong plug. This is a safety feature. If the plug should fail to fit the outlet, contact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
