Unit fails to heat up. The Power
Indicator Light does not
illuminate.
Unit is not plugged in. Plug power cord into electrical
outlet.
On/Off Switch is not set to “On”
(I) position.
Set On/Off Switch to “On” (I)
position.
Unit fails to heat up. Power
Indicator Light does illuminate.
NOTE: Always allow sufficient
time forunit to heat to selected
temperature (Heating Indicator
Light next to selection will
remain steady, without
blinking).
Auto Shut-Off has engaged (Auto
Shut-Off Indicator Light is
blinking).
Move Pressing Plate up or down
to deactivate Auto Shut-Off.
Unit is damaged or otherwise in
need of repair.
Immediately cease usage and
unplug. Contact Customer
Support for further assistance (see
Page 13 for details).
Excessive gurgling and water in
steam.
Steam Burst Button has been
pressed too many times in quick
succession.
For best results, Steam Burst
Button should be pushed no more
than four times consecutively
before allowing a brief heat-up
period.
Household circuit breaker / ground
fault interrupter has tripped or
blown a fuse.
Reset circuit breaker / ground fault
interrupter, or replace fuse. If you
need assistance, contact a licensed
electrician.
Unit fails to steam / steam output
is weak or intermittent when
Steam Burst Button is pressed.
Water in Water Tank is running
low or is empty.
Refill Water Tank with distilled
water. Refer to procedure on Page
7 for details.
Unit is set to lower temperature
setting (NYLON, WOOL/SILK).
Steam burst function is not
available on lower temperature
settings. Select a higher setting
(COTTON, MAX/LINEN) in
order to use steam.
Pressing Plate requires cleaning. Thoroughly wipe Pressing Plate
with a soft damp cloth.
No active temperature setting
(NYLON, WOOL/SILK,
COTTON, MAX/LINEN) has
been selected.
Press Fabric Select Button to cycle
through four available temperature
selections.
Unit is damaged or otherwise in
need of repair.
Immediately cease usage and
unplug. Contact Customer
Support for further assistance (see
Page 13 for details).
Unit fails to steam. Correct
temperature setting (COTTON,
MAX/LINEN) is selected, Water
Tank is filled and Pressing Plate is
clean.
