Examine the pacifier bulb before each use for cracks, tears, tackiness or other signs of wear. Discard the worn unit immediately.

Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperature, moisture or dirt.

Do not attempt to pull or twist the nipple apart from the body as this will damage the thermo- meters sensitivity probe and electronics.

Never allow a child to play with this product. It is not a toy. It is a sensitive electronic device and may be damaged if not used properly under parental supervision.

Use this thermometer for oral temperature measurements only.

The battery is not replaceable. Do not attempt to remove the battery.

HOW TO USE

 

Remove the protection cover carefully.

 

Press the On/Off button briefly. The display indicates first

36.5°C and afterwards ‘L°C’. When the ‘°C’ symbol starts

 

 

flashing, the thermometer is ready to use.

If the ambient temperature is higher than 44°C, the display indicates ‘H°C’.

Position the pacifier thermometer bulb in your child’s mouth. Allow your child to suck at least 3 minutes (minimum). To have a more accurate temperature, keep the thermometer in the child’s mouth for 6 to 8 minutes.

When the peak temperature is stable for 32 seconds, the alarm tone will be heard.

To turn the unit off, press the On/Off button briefly.

Re-install the protection cover immediately after use.

4MEMORY

The last 5 measurement results are stored in the memory.

To recall the memory:

Press and hold the On/Off button. The display will show M1, followed by the last measure- ment result in °C.

When the result is shown, press the On/Off button to recall the previous result.

Note: If you wait too long, 36,5°C followed by ‘L°C’ will be displayed and the thermometer will initialize for starting a new measurement.

• Press the On/Off button repeatedly to scroll though the 5 memories.
