Using the TV’s
Features

To Block Programs By MPAA Rating

1. Press MENU and press VOL – or +
to select .
2. Press CH S or T to select V-CHIP
BLOCK.
3. Input the 4-digit secret number (fac-
tory setting is 0000) using the number
buttons.
4. Press CH S or T to select MPAA.
5. Press VOL – or + to enter.
6. Press CH S or T to select the rating
you need to set.
7. Press VOL – or + to select BLOCK or
-----(UNBLOCK). If you set PG to
BLOCK, PG-13, R, NC-17, and X are
automatically blocked.
8. Press MENU to return.

Changing or Clearing the Secret Number

Notes:
Any time you change the V-CHIP
rating, you need to input the
secret number.
The default secret number is
“0 0 0 0 “.
1. Press MENU and press CH S
or T to select V-CHIP
BLOCK.
2. Press and hold
VOLUME + on the
upper Control Panel,
then press and hold
CHANNEL on the
TV set simultaneously.
3. The message NEW
SECRET NUMBER is dis-
played. Input desired 4 digit
number using number buttons.
