65HM117, 57HM117 specifications

The Toshiba 57HM117 and 65HM117 are part of Toshiba's line of rear projection televisions that offered consumers a compelling blend of advanced technology and large screen entertainment, ideal for movie enthusiasts and gamers alike.

One of the standout features of these models is their impressive screen size, providing a cinema-like experience right from the comfort of home. The 57HM117 comes with a screen size of 57 inches, while the 65HM117 boasts an even larger 65-inch display, making both models suitable for expansive living spaces or home theaters.

Both televisions employ Toshiba's DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, which utilizes micro-mirrors to produce bright and sharp images. This technology is known for its ability to deliver vibrant colors and a high contrast ratio, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The 57HM117 and 65HM117 support a native resolution of 1080p, which means they can display high-definition content with remarkable clarity and detail, perfect for enjoying Blu-ray films or high-definition broadcasts.

In terms of connectivity, these models are equipped with multiple inputs, including HDMI, component, and composite connections, allowing users to easily connect a range of devices such as DVD players, gaming consoles, and streaming devices. This versatility ensures that users can enjoy a wide variety of content with ease. Additionally, they feature integrated digital tuners for access to over-the-air broadcast channels.

Another notable characteristic is Toshiba’s variable picture modes, which allow users to customize their viewing preferences depending on the content being viewed or the ambient light in the room. Options typically include settings designed for sports, movies, and standard viewing.

The design of both televisions is sleek and modern, complementing any home decor. The rear projection technology means that they can be placed close to walls, making them a suitable choice for smaller spaces without sacrificing the size of the screen.

Ultimately, the Toshiba 57HM117 and 65HM117 televisions represent a blend of innovative technology and user-friendly features, making them a strong choice for anyone looking to enhance their home entertainment experience.
