Selecting Stereo/SAP Broadcasts
The MTS (Multi-channel TV Sound) feature allows you tt_improve your TV viewing with high fidelity stereo sotmd.
This TV also allows you to activate or deacth, at,e the sterco surround sound effect.

be displayed in yellow.
Press "_ or • until "STR'" (ster,ec0 is
displayed in purple.
You should leave your TV oil "%TR'" so you
can atttomatically receive stereo or
monaural sound, depending on tile
broadcast type. Ifthe stereo sound isnoisy,
select "MONO" to reduce the noise.
Activating the surround sound effect
lSelect the Stereo mode as described above.
2 Press MENU until tile Audio menu is
displayed on tile screen.
3Press • or• until "'SURROUND" is
display,ed ill purple.
4Press _lot-I_ to select "ON".
In general, you should leave your I-V Oil
SURROUND [ON] so it can automatically
