6Type your password in the Input box.

7Retype your password in the Input again box.

8Click Set.

9Click OK.

Disabling a user password

To cancel the power-on password function:

1Click Start, then click All Programs.

2Point to TOSHIBA Console, then click the resulting

TOSHIBA Console selection.

The TOSHIBA Console window appears.

3On the left side, select Security.

4Select the User Password icon.

5Select Verify by Password.

6Type the correct password.

7Click Delete.

8Click OK.
