<General Guidelines for Selecting Image Quality>

For high image quality, select [S] or [F] compression; when taking pictures for viewing on a television monitor, select [F] or [N], and when taking pictures which will be used in small size on the Internet or other computer application, use [N]. When images are to be enlarged, or when image quality is particularly important, select [S].
