Selecting the Video Output Mode
When traveling overseas, differences in television standards may make
it impossible to view pictures normally on local television monitors. In
this case, use this function to select the television standard of the
locality in which you are using the camera.
The cameras default value is NTSC.
<Operation>
1Press the % or button to
select [VIDEO OUT].
2Press the # (or “ ”) button.
3Use either the % or
button to select [PAL] or
[NTSC]
4Press the @ button (or “ ”
button) to complete the setting.
Selecting the Display Language
The camera's display language can be set to one of the following
languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish.

1Press the % or button to
select [ LANGUAGE].
2Press the # (or “ ”) button.
3Select [ENGLISH] (or either
[] (Japanese),
[FRANÇAIS], [DEUTSCH], or
[ESPAÑOL]) using % or .
4Press the @ button (or “ ”
button) to complete the setting.
