AC Power Cord and Connectors

In Europe, two conductors power cords must be VDE type, H05VVH2-F or H03VVH2-F; while three conductors be VDE type, H05VV-F.

For the United States and Canada, two pin plug configuration must be

2-15P (250V) or 1-15P (125V); while three pin be 6-15P (250V) or 5-15P (125V) as designated in the U.S. National Electrical code handbook and the Canadian Electrical Code Part II.
