Signal lightning arrester is used to pro tect RJ45 ports of the device from lightning.
When cabling outdoors, pl ease install a signal lightning arrester before co nnecting the
cable to the device.
When purc hasing or using a signal lightning arrester, p lease obs erve the following
rules:
The port rate of the signal lightning arreste r should match the rate of the desired

port on t he device. If it is not matched, this signal lighting arrester will not work.
Purchase a standard lightning arrester.
Install s ignal ligh tning arre ster ne ar the protected device and co nnect it to t he

ground via a shorter ground cable.
