Operación básica continúa

Arranque en frío su UPS: Puede “arrancar en frío” su UPS y usarlo como una fuente de energía independiente cuando la energía de la red no está presente, siempre y cuando la batería del UPS esté cargada. Para “arrancar en frío” su UPS, presione y mantenga presionado el botón ON/OFF (encendido/apagado) hasta que escuche un pitido (2 segundos aproximadamente) y luego suéltelo. La luz indicadora “ ” se iluminará y la energía de CA invertida a partir de la energía almacenada en la batería se suministrará a sus receptáculos.

Apague su UPS: Presione y mantenga presionado el botón ON/OFF (encendido/apagado) cuando no hay energía de CA de la red (como durante una falla del servicio o cuando el UPS está desconectado) para desactivar su UPS.

Use el botón MUTE/TEST (SILENCIO/PRUEBA) para lo siguiente:

Acallar la alarma UPS con batería: Presione y mantenga presionado este botón para acallar la alarma UPS con batería, una serie de pitidos cortos seguidos de una breve pausa que se activa cuando el UPS proporciona energía de CA de la batería. Nota: Cuando la batería esté casi agotada, la alarma Batería baja-un pitido continuo que no puede acallarse—le alertará para que apague inmediatamente el equipo conectado.

Ejecutar una auto-prueba:Su UPS realiza una auto-prueba siempre que se conecta inicialmente. Para ejecutar una auto-prueba en otro momento, deje su equipo conectado. Con su UPS conectado y en el modo UPS, presione y mantenga presionado este botón hasta que escuche un pitido (2 segundos aproximadamente) y luego suéltelo.

Resultados de una auto-prueba:Todos los LEDs estarán encendidos y el UPS emitirá varios pitidos cortos mientras cambia momentánea- mente a batería para probar su estado de carga y la capacidad de carga. La prueba durará a lo sumo 10 segundos. Si el inversor está sobrecargado, el LED “ ” permanecerá encendido y el UPS seguirá emitiendo pitidos después de la prueba; si sucede esto, retire algo de carga y ejecute la auto-prueba nuevamente. Si las baterías parecen débiles, el LED “ ” permanecerá encendido y el UPS seguirá emitiendo pitidos después de la prueba; en este caso, deje que el UPS cargue sus baterías por 12 horas y repita la prueba. Si la condición persiste, contacte con Tripp Lite para que le brinden servicio. Es probable que su UPS requiera reemplazar la batería.
