1 Enchufe su sistema UPS a

 

una toma de corriente de

 

120 V CA, 60 Hz, de 3 hilos y

 

que esté conectada a tierra.

 

Este sistema UPS de grado hospitalario debe

 

conectarse a una toma de grado hospitalario

 

para lograr una conexión a tierra confiable.

Los sistemas UPS sólo cumplen la norma UL

 

2601-1 para equipo médico si se conectan a

 

una toma de grado hospitalario. Al conectarse

 

el sistema UPS, éste ejecutará una

 

autoprueba. Vea la sección Operación básica

 

para poder entender los resultados de dicha

 

autoprueba.

 

2 Enchufe su equipo al

sistema UPS.

Se sobrecargará si se le conectan aparatos con

 

un gran consumo de energía, como

 

dispositivos de gran dimensión impulsados

 

por motor, impresoras láser o supresores de

Oprima el botón UPS/STANDBY para

 

alternar el sistema entre los modos UPS

• Deje el sistema siempre en el modo UPS.

 

El resto de los países:

• Ponga el sistema en el modo STANDBY (espera) cuando no esté utilizando los equipos conectados al mismo.

(¡ADVERTENCIA! Cuando el interruptor esté en la posición "CHARGE ONLY" (carga de batería solamente), el sistema UPS no suministrará energía de batería durante un apagón o baja de voltaje).
