The handset beeps and
displays a confirmation screen. For
example,if you store a name and number
into memory location number one, then
the handset showsMemory 1 Stored.
10)Thedisplay then returns to the Memor y Storescreen. You may select
another number to edit (returnto step 3) or you may press
mem
to
returnto standby.
ERASING A NUMBER FROM MEMORY
Use these steps to erase a programmednumber from memor y.Once a
number is erased, that memory location may be programmed with a
new number.
1) Remove the handset from the base.
2) Press and hold
mem
fortwo seconds.
The handset showsthe Memor y Store
screenwith any saved numbers displayed.
3) Use the :and ;keys or number keypad to select the memory
location youwould like to delete. The <and >keys toggle between the
names display and the numbers display.
4) Press
select
. The followingscreen
appears with the memory location
number that youhave selected in
the display.
5) Use the ;keytomovethe>cursor
downto the Delete Memorycommand.
6) Press
select
. The followingconfirmation
screenappears.
7) Use the :keytomovethe>cursorto the Yes command.
