USING CALLER ID
Youmust subscribe to Caller ID from your phone company in
orderto use this feature.
tSetting Up Caller ID Options
Thereare three Caller ID setup options available; Autotalk, CIDCW, and
AreaCode.
Auto Talk allows you to answer the phone without pressing the
talk
button. If the phone rings when Autotalk is on,simply remove the
handset fromthe cradle and the phone automatically answers the call.
If the phone rings when Autotalk is off,you must press
talk
to answer
the call. This option is useful to help youscreen your calls
moreef fectively.
CIDCW(Caller ID on Call Waiting) performs the same as regular
CallerID on a call waiting number. Youmust subscribe to CIDCW
fromyour phone company in order to use this feature.
If youenter your 3-digit area code number in the Area Code
option, yourlocal area code does not appear in Caller ID messages.
When reviewingCaller ID messages, you will see only the local seven
digit number.For calls received from outside your local area code, you
will see a full 10-digitnumber.
Tochange your Caller ID options:
1) Press and hold
call id
fortwo seconds.
The followingscreen appears.
