If yourphone is not performing to your expectations, please try these
simplesteps. If you are still unable to resolve the problem, contact your
place of purchaseor call customer service at (800)297-1023.
PROBLEM SUGGESTION
The chargelight won’t come
on when the handset is
placed in the base.
Makesure the AC adapter is
pluggedinto the base and
walloutlet.
Makesure the handset is properly
seated in base.
Makesure the charging contacts on
the handset and base areclean.
The audio sounds weak
and/or scratchy.
Makesure that the base antenna is
in a verticalposition.
Press
chan
to help eliminate
backgroundnoise.
Movethe handset and/or base to a
differentlocation away from metal
objects or appliances and
try again.
Can’t make or receive calls. Check both ends of the base
telephone line cord.
Makesure the AC adapter is
pluggedinto the base and
walloutlet.
Disconnect the ACadapter for a few
minutes, then reconnectit.
Resetsecurity code (see page 13).
