SETTING THE PULSE/TONE SWITCH

Be sure the

PULSE/TONE

switch

is in the

TONE

position unless

your local phone system uses

pulse dialing.

ADJUSTING THE RINGER AND VOLUMECONTROLS
tHandset Ringer Toneand Volume
YourEXI 7960 lets you choose from
tworinger tones, Type A and T ype B.
Each tone has a lowand high volume
setting. When the phone is in standby
mode, pressthe
vol
sor tkeyon the handset to select the handset
ringertone and volume. As you change the settings, the selection appears
onthe LCD.
tHandset Earpiece Volume
The EXI 7960 comes with fourvolume settings for the handset earpiece
- normal, medium, high and loud. The Loud setting is especially useful
in places with a lot of backgroundnoise, or for the
hearing impaired.

When youhang up, the EXI 7960 keeps the last volume setting selected.
