The EXI 7960 does not keepthe Loud volume setting when you hang
up, but returnsto the normal setting to avoid any hearing discomfort
forthe next person using the phone.

phone line, a digital code wasadded to the EXI 7960. Your phone’s
handset and base sharethis code, which is randomly set each time you
place the handset in the charging cradle.
Toreestablish communication between the handset and the base in the
eventof a power failure:
1) Restore power to the base.
2) Place the handset in the base and press
page
.
3) Pick up the handset from the base.
4) Return the handset to the base.
The
status
LED blinks to indicate that the digital security code is reset.
