Usethe scratch pad to record a phone number during a
call.Then you can dial that number from the scratch pad
orenter it into a memor y location.
1)During a call, enter the
numberwith the keypad.
2)When you are finished with
yourcall, press
end
.
3)To dial the number in the
scratchpad, press
send
.
▼Mute
•Ifyou want to mute the microphone so the caller
cannothear, press
menu
and .
•Toturn the microphone back on, press
menu
and
again.
▼Monitor
Duringmonitor, you hear the conversation from the
speakeron the back. The microphone is disabled. Use
thisfeature for calling a bank or similar automated
answeringsystem.
•Toenable the monitor feature, press (monitor).
•Todisable the monitor feature, press (monitor).
▼TransmittingDTMF Signal(s)
DTMF(dual tone multi-frequency) tones are transmitted
fromyour phone when you press a digit key during a call.
▼FlashSignal (Signaling Tone)
Whenyou press
send
duringa call, it generates a flash
signal(signaling tone).
