seconds. When the message cou nter
turns off, all func tions are disabled
except for charging.

1. Install the battery.
2. When the “Welcome, please wait...”
message disappears from t he display,
press and hold

confirmation tone sounds,
indication all funct ions except
charging are disabled.
To return to normal operation,
cycle the power for the base and
remove and reinstall the handset
battery.
