Using the DirectLink Feature

A pair of handsets (or two pairs of handsets at one time) can function as two-way radios. This fea- ture is called DirectLink and will not interfere with the base’s ability to make or receive telephone calls while in use. To activate, you must set both handsets to the DirectLink feature. While using this feature, these two handsets will not be able to make or receive normal phone calls until this operation is canceled; however, other handsets will function normally.
