Press and hold

on the base to scroll quickly through the volume levels.

Adjusting the speaker volume level

When the base speaker is in use, press / or on the base to adjust the

volume. Press / for louder or / for softer.

The numbers 1-10 appear on the base indicating the volume levels. 1 being the softest and 10 being the loudest.

Using the menu mode

The Menu mode allows you to set the following Answering System functions.

To scroll through the menu options, repeatedly press

 

 

 

on the base in the standby mode.

 

CLOCK/MENU

The system returns to standby after the last menu

 

CLOCK/MENU

option. A confirmation tone sounds to indicate the

 

standby mode.

 

 

 

 

CLOCK/MENU

• If you press

, the operation is canceled.

 

• If the system remains idle for about 5 seconds after

 

CLOCK/MENU

the announcement, the system returns to standby.

 

 

 

Once

 

/SELECT or

 

/SELECT is pressed, the

idle time is extended to 10 seconds.

 

• If there is an incoming call, the operation is canceled.

• When you have completed the setting, press

exit the menu mode, or

 

to move to the

CLOCK/MENU

next menu option.

For your convenience, voice prompts will guide you through the menu setup mode.
