Connecting the Cigarette Lighter Power Cord

Using the Cigarette Lighter Power Cord whenever you are operating the

PRO340XLin a vehicle saves the radio's internal battery life.

IMPORTANT: TheCigarette Lighter Power Cord is designed tobe used

ONLY with negative ground vehicles. Do not attempt to

operate the unit with the power cord connected to apositive

ground vehicle.

To connect the Cigarette Lighter Power Cord:

1. Connectthe power cord to the POWERconnectionon the side of the

radio.

2. Plug the power cord into the cigarette lighter of your vehicle.

Note: Power is disconnected from the radio's battery compartment when

using the cigarette lighter power cord.
