Programming

Before the UBC785XLT can begin conventional scanning, you must program a frequency into at least one channel.

Repeat this procedure for each channel you want to program.

Storing Frequencies into Channels in Menu Mode

1.Prepare frequencies you received from your dealer or from various sources on the internet.

2.Press MENU.

3.Select 2:SCAN OPTION by rotating the VFO and pressing E.

4.Enter the channel number using the keypad, then press E.

5.Select 1:FREQUENCY by rotating the VFO and pressing E. Then enter the frequency.

7.The following display appears. Select the action by rotating VFO, then press E.

If you want to set other settings for this channel, select 2: CHANNEL OPTION.
