GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Your uh044sx pack includes 3 AA rechargeable NiMH batteries to power the uh044sx. You must install and then charge the batteries for 14+ hrs before use.
The uh044sx can also use 3 AA Alkaline batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries to avoid damage to the unit.
To install the batteries:
1. Make sure your radio is off.
2. Release the battery cover clip, then remove the battery cover.
3. Insert 3 AA rechargeable NiMH batteries according to the polarity symbols inside the 
battery compartment.
4. Align the battery cover tabs with the uh044sx tab holes then replace the cover.
