Section 12: Applications and Tools

The topics covered in this section allow you to schedule appointments, view the calendar, set an alarm, view time zones, take notes, and perform simple math calculations.

My Verizon

My Verizon connects to Verizon Wireless Mobile Web, where you can set up Favorites, choose available applications, and other services.

▶From the Home Screen, touch My Verizon.

Note: You can also access My Verizon by touching My Verizon on the Menu or the My Verizon shortcut.

Tools

The Tools menu provides personal productivity and information applications.

Voice Commands

Use Voice Commands to operate your phone by speaking commands.

▶From the Home Screen, press .

Calculator

The Calculator menu provides a mathematical Calculator, a Tip Calculator, and a Converter.

Normal

Perform simple mathematical calculations.

▶From the Home Screen, touch Tools ➔ Calculator ➔ Normal.

Tip

Calculate the tip and how much each person should pay.

Note: The following steps outline tip calculations using the touch keypad.

1.From the Home Screen, touch Tools ➔ Calculator ➔ Tip.

2.Touch each field to populate:

• Bill: Enter the amount of the bill.
