Cómo usar el humidificador de vapor frío Vicks®

El humidificador Vicks no necesita montaje alguno, está listo para su uso.

Al usarlo por primera vez

Lea todas las instrucciones antes de usar el aparato

Para llenar el humidificador:

1. Desempaque el humidificador. Retire el cajetín del ventilador y localice el filtro de drenaje en la base. Retire el filtro de drenaje y remójelo en agua fría. Seguidamente, vuelva a colocarlo en la base del aparato.

3. Coloque el humidificador a al menos TRECE centímetros (CINCO pulgadas) de las paredes y las fuentes de calor, sobre una superficie, FIRME, LLANA Y BIEN NIVELADA. Como medida de precaución, en caso que se derrame agua accidentalmente, coloque el humidificador sobre una superficie resistente al agua y no conductora. Evite colocar objetos sobre el humidificador para no obstruir los orificios del aire.

4. Antes de usar el humidificador, desenrolle el cable de alimentación y compruebe que no esté dañado. Si estuviera dañado, NO USE EL APARATO, llame al 1 800 VAPOR-12.

5. Evite que el cable de alimentación toque ninguna fuente de calor. Cuídese que nadie pueda pisar el cable de alimentación ni tropezarse con él.

6. Saque el depósito sujetándolo del asa. Voltee el depósito y retire cuidadosamente el tapón de llenado, desenroscándolo al contrario de las agujas del reloj. Llene el depósito con agua fría del grifo. ADVERTENCIA: nunca use agua caliente, podría dañar el filtro de drenaje.

7. Compruebe que la junta hermética de caucho del tapón (junta tórica) está en su sitio antes de volver a colocar el tapón de llenado en el depósito (para evitar derrames de agua). Para enroscar el tapón de llenado, gírelo en la dirección de las agujas del reloj.

8. Para mover el depósito, sujételo siempre con ambas manos (una en el asa y otra sobre el tapón de llenado). Vuelva a colocar el depósito en la base.

1. Compruebe que el interruptor está apagado (O) y coloque el aparato sobre una superficie plana y estable. Seguidamente, enchufe el cable de alimentación a una toma de corriente de 120 voltios c.a.

Llene el depósito de agua y vuelva a colocarlo en la base.

Ajuste el selector a la velocidad deseada. El ventilador se pondrá a dar vueltas.
