retained as a constant (except +, −, M+ and M− entries) until you

 

 

depress the x, ÷ or Clear.

Clears a live entry by pressing this key once. Press twice to clear the

 

 

accumulator or pending calculation. Does not clear the Memory or

 

 

Grand total.
