Setup Menu (Basic tab)

In the setup menus you may adjust your ViviCam 8300s’s operating environment. The settings will be retained after the power has been turned off or Auto Power Off is activated.

1.Slide the mode switch to [ ] and set the mode dial to [].

The [Basic] tab of the set-up menu is displayed.

2.Select the desired [Basic] option item with the S /T buttons, and press the SET button to enter its respective menu.

3.Select the desired setting with the S/T buttons, and press the SET button.

4.To exit from the set-up menu, change the mode dial setting.

Card Info.

This will display the total capacity of your memory card as well as the remaining (unused) capacity. Note that the stated capacity may be less than the advertised (labeled) capacity of your SD memory card. This is attributable to the difference between binary (base 2) and engineering (base 10) methods of capacity calculation.

Fr. No. Reset

This creates a new folder on your memory card. From this point forward, newly captured images are stored in the newly created folder starting with image number 0001.
