as five hexadecimal bytes of 01, 20, 00, AB and CD. If the command string is composed of two or more commands, a comma ‘,’ should be inserted to separate each command. Each comma represents 200 milliseconds. For instance, a command to pan left may be “01000305” and a command to stop panning may be “01000300”. The user may edit the applicable command as “01000305,01000300” in the “Move Left” field. This means the camera will pan left for 200 milliseconds. The maximal length of a command

string is 60 which is equivalent to 30 hexadecimal bytes. When everything is set, click on Manual background to save

the commands and click on Manual background to close the command setting window.

NetworKam provides five more custom commands other than general pan, tilt functions. Administrators

can click on Manual background and refer to the instruction manual of the attached device to setup frequently used functions. The "Command" should be entered in ASCII format alike the pan, tilt commands. "Display string" is for those texts on command buttons and should be less than 8 characters.

To enter more commands or commands other than pan and tilt, a flexible URL is provided for customized interface. See the “Clear data path for proprietary commands” section in Advanced functions for details.
