OPERATING TIPS

OPERATING TIPS

If unit has been unplugged, start the unit following the start-up instruction (see How To Use). If unit has not been unplugged, just press the POWER button and the unit will continue from the last used setting before it was turned off.

To use your DVTH as a fan set the MODE to FA (fan only).

Your Vornado DVTH, like other 1,500-Watt electric heaters, draws up to

12.5Amps of electric current. If using your DVTH on HI (high heat) mode causes your home circuit breaker to fuse or trip, we offer the following suggestions:

Try turning off other electrical appliances that run on the same circuit as your heater.

Run your heater on the LO (low heat) mode.

Have your electrician add some additional circuits to your home electrical system.

When the room temperature is higher than the set temperature it is normal and correct to have little to no heat coming out of the DVTH. When the unit is first turned on there is a slight delay before heat will start to be produced.

ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE WHEN USING THIS AND/OR ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE
