Chaque guitare VOX est soigneusement ajustée à l’usine pour une large gamme de style de jeu, de 010 à 046 pour les cordes. Vous voulez peut-être peaufiner la jouabilité à votre propre style, avec des cordes aux différents gabarits, ou après un changement de température.

Avant d’effectuer des réglages, vous aurez besoin de vérifier le réglage du manche appropriée. Avec la guitare accordée, appuyez sur la corde de Mi bas à la fois sur la 1ere et la 22eme frette et de vérifier la distance entre le haut de la case 8 et le fond de la corde de Mi bas. Idéalement, vous verrez apparaître un écart à peu près de la même taille que le diamètre de la corde de mi aigu.

Si vous voyez trop d’écart, vous aurez besoin d’augmenter la tension de la tige du Truss rod, en faisant tourner

cette tige dans le sens d’une aiguille d’une montre avec la clé de réglage fournie. Si vous ne voyez pas un écart suffisant, ou si la corde touche la case n°8, vous devez diminuer la tension du Truss rod, en faisant tourner le Truss rod dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre. Ne forcez jamais le Truss rod, et si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise

ou pas familiers avec ce type de réglages, apportez votre guitare dans un centre technique.
