CONFIGURACIÓN Y AJUSTES

Cada guitarra VOX ha sido cuidadosamente ajustada en fábrica para una amplia gama de estilos interpretativos, con cuerdas de 0,010” a 0,046”. Puede que desees adaptar la respuesta a tu propio estilo personal, distintos diámetros de cuerdas, o a cambios ambientales.

Antes de realizar cualquier Ajuste, es necesario verificar el arqueo (o ten- sión) del cuello de la guitarra. Con la guitarra afinada, pulsa la cuerda de Mi grave (E) en los trastes 1º y 22º (puedes usar una cejilla), y comprueba la distancia entre la parte superior del traste 8º y la parte inferior de la cuerda Mi grave. De forma ideal debes ver una distancia equivalente al tamaño del diámetro de la cuerda de Mi agudo.

Si existe un espacio demasiado grande, será necesario aumentar la tensión mediante el tensor del mástil, girando la

tuerca de tensión en sentido de las agujas del reloj con la herramienta incluida. (¡Por supuesto no te olvides de quitar antes la tapa!). Si el espacio es demasia- do pequeño o si la cuerda está tocando el 8º traste, será necesario que aflojes el tensor del mástil, girando dicha tuerca en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj. No fuerces nunca la tuerca de apriete, y

si no te sientes cómodo realizando este tipo de Ajuste, te recomendamos que lleves tu guitarra a un centro especializado.
