—Codabar (cont.)

Codabar is a variable length symbology capable of encoding six special alphanumeric characters, capital letters A through D, T, N, *, E, and all numeric digits. Codabar is one of the oldest bar code symbologies and is still used in some library applications. It should not be considered for new applications except under unusual circumstances.
