ON/OFF SWITCH
TheON/OFF SWITCH is used to activate
the motor.
INLET COVER LATCH
TheINLET COVER LATCH is used to open
and close theva cuum inletcover.
BLOWER TUBE
TheBLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
TUBE RELEASE BUTTON
The TUBE RELEASE BUTTON secures the
blower tube or elbow tubeto the blower
unit during operation. Also, pressing the
tube releaseb uttonallows removal of the
blower tube or elbow tube.
WARNING: Yo u MUSTma ke sure
the tubes are secure before using the
unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
withoutthe blower tube properly attached
toavoid flying debris and/or impellercon-
tact which can cause serio us injury. Al-
wayswear eye protection toprevent rocks
or debris from being blown or ricocheting
into the eyes and face wh ich can result in
blindness or serious injury.
STOPPINGYOUR UNIT
Slide the ON/OFF switch tothe OFF
position.
STARTINGYOUR UNIT
Yourunit has two run positions, LOW
and HIGH. Slidethe switch to one of
these positionsto turn on the unit.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING : Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks,glass,
wire, etc.,that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise cause injury or damage
duringoperation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
DSweepingdebris orgrass clippings from
driveways,sidewalks, patios, etc.
DBlowing grass clippings, straw, or
leaves into piles, or removing debris
fromc orners,around joints,or between
bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Always work
away fromsolid objects such as walks,
large stones, vehicles, and fences.
Clean cornersby starting in corners and
moving outward. This will help prevent
an accumulation of debris which could
fly intoyour face.
Be carefulwhen working near plants.
