ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Stop the unit and dis-
connect from the power source before
opening the vacuum inletcov er.The mo-
tor must be stopped and the impeller
blades no longer turningto avoid serious
injury from the rotating blades .
WARNING: If received assembled,
ensure your unit is properly assembled
and all fasteners are secure.
SA standard screwdriver is required for
assembly.
Your blower can also be used as a
vacuum by purchasing an optional
vacuum kit (Model EBVA1910). Con-
tact your authorized service dealer
fordetails.
BLOWER TUBE ASSEMBLY
1. Alignthe grooves on the blower tube
withthe gro oves on the blower outlet.
2. Pushthe blower tube onto theblower
outletuntil it snaps into place (tube is
securedby red tube release button).
3. To remove the blower tube,press the
tube release button while p ulling on
tube.

SELECT AN EXTENSION CORD
Use only a 120 A.C.voltage supply as
shown on nameplateof the unit to
power your blower.
Theextensioncordusedtoreachthe
power source must be:
DSpecifically marked as su itable for out-
dooruse. The cord must be marked with
the suffix “W”.
DHeavy enough to carry full current from
the power source to the unit. Othe rwise,
loss of power and overheating can oc-
cur causing damage to unit. Refer to
table for minimum wire gauge recom-
mendations. The cord must be marked
withthe proper wire gauge. (Appropriate
extension cords are available.) Do not
use multiplecords.
DIn good condition.Cord insulation must
beintact with no cracks or deterioration.
Plug connectors must be undamaged.
DO NOT use multiplecords.

Secure theextension cord to the unit by
threading the cord through th e cord re-
tainer (see illustration). Ins ert the cord
receptacleinto the recessed plug.
