ronments.
SDress safely in long pants. Do not go
barefootor wear short pants or sand als.
SDo not operate the unit when you are
tired, ill, upset, or if yo u are under th e in-
fluenceof alcohol, drugs, or medication.
SSecure hair so it is above shoulder
length. Keep loose hair,loose clothing,
fingers, and all otherp artsof the body
away fromopenings and moving parts.
Hair,jewelry, loose clothing, or clothing
with loosely hanging straps, ties, tas-
sels, etc., can be caught in moving
parts.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING:
Avoid a dangerous environment. To re-
duce the risk of electricalshock, do not
use in rain, in damp or wet locations,or
aroundswimming pools, hot tubs, etc. Do
notexpose to snow, rain, or waterto avoid
the possibility of electrical shoc k. Do not
useon wet surfaces. Do not hand leexten -
sion cord plug or unit with wet hands.
Avoiddangerous situations. Do not use in
the presence of flammable liq uids or
gases to avoidcreating a fire or explosion
and/or causing damage to unit. Do not
abusecord. Never carry the unit by the ex-
tensioncord or yank extension cord to dis-
connect unit. To unplug, grasp the plug,
notthe cord. Do not use cord as a handle,
close a door on cord, or pull cord around
sharp edges or corners. Turn off allcon -
trols before unplugging. Do not expose
cordsto heat, oil, or water. Do not use with
damaged cord or plug. If unit is not work-
ing as itshould, has been dropped, dam-
aged,left outdoors, or dropped into water,
return it to your authorized servic ed ealer
for repair.Unplug the unit from the power
source when not inu se,before servicing,
cleaning, performing maintenance, or
storing. Do not put any object into open-
ings. Do not use with any opening
blocked; keep free of dust, lint,hair and
anything that may reduce airflow.
SUse only a voltage supply as shown on
the nameplate of the unit.
SAvoid dangerous environments. Do not
usein unventilated areas or where dust or
explosive vapors can build up.
SToreduce the risk of electrical shock, use
extension cords specifically marked as
suitablefor outdoor appliances. Theelec-
trical rating of the cord must not be less
than the rating of theunit. The cord must
bemarked with the suffix “W”. Make sure
your extension cord is in good condition.
Inspectextension cord before use and re-
place if damaged. An undersized exten-
sionc ordwill causea drop in line voltage
resulting in loss of power and overheat-
