GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does notcover
items thathave been subjected to opera-
tor abuse or negligence. Toreceive full
value from the warranty, the operator mus t
maintain unit as instructed in this manual.
Variousadjustments will need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your unit.

BEFORE EACH USE

CHECK FOR LOOSE
FASTENERSAND PARTS
SInlet Cover
SBlower Tube
CHECK FOR DAMAGED OR
WORN PARTS
Contact your authorized service dealer
for replacement of damaged or worn
parts.
SON/OFF Switch -- Ensure switchfunc-
tionsproperlybymovingtheswitchto
the OFF position. Make sure motor
stops; thenrestart motor and continue.
SInlet Cover --Discontinue use of unit if
inlet cover fails to la tch properly or if it is
damaged in any way.

AFTER EACHUSE

INSPECTAND CLEAN UNIT & LABELS
Stop unitand unplug extension cord.
SAfter each use, inspect complete unit
forloose or damaged parts. Clean the
unit usinga damp cloth.
SWipe offunit with a clean dry cloth.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps aftereach use:
SStop unitan d disconnectfrom the pow-
er source.
SAllow motor to cool before storing or
transporting.
SStoreu nitwith all guards in place. Posi-
tionunit so that any sharp object cannot
accidentally cause injury.
SStore unit unplugged, well out of the
reach of children.
SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepareunit for storage at the end of
the season or if itwill not be used for
30 days or more.
Ifyour blower is to be stored for a period
of time:
SStop unitand disconne ctfrom the pow-
er source.
SCleanthe entire unit before lengthystor-
age.
SInspect the blower and blower tube.
Close and make sure the cover is
latched.
SClean air vents and air inlet of debris.
SStore yourunit and extension cord in a
well ventilated area an d covered, if pos-
sible,to prevent dust and dirt accumula-
tion. Do not cover with plastic .Pla stic
cannot breathe and may cause con-
densation and eventual rust or corro-
sion.
SCheck entire unit forloose screws. Re-
place any damaged, worn, or broken
parts.
