Remote Access Category

WD 2go Setup Screen

Purpose: On this screen you can enable remote access and check remote

connections, firewall settings, and WD 2go Service.

Enable Remote Access Toggle to On to enable remote access.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the service to start

depending on your network configuration.

Connection Status Indicates the statu s of the connection, for example:

Disable – User has not selected the Enable Remote

Access check box and no mobile device has been added

yet.

Connecting – Router is trying to connect to a mobile

device or a registered web access account. Please wait.

Connected – Connection is now established to a

registered mobile device or a registered web access

account.

Failed – Router could not establish a remote access

connection with the mobile device or web access

account. Check your Internet connection.
