Rating Description
GContains nothing most parents will consider offensive for even
their youngest children to see or hear; suitable for young children.
PG May contain some material parents might not like to expose to their
young children-material that will clearly need to be examined or
inquired about before children are allowed to view the film.
PG-13 May contain some scenes of drug use; use of one of the harsher
sexually-derived words may be heard. May be inappropriate for
preteens.
RMay contain some adult material. Parents are urged to learn more
about the film before letting their children view it.
NC-17
May contain explicit sex scenes, an accumulation of sexually-
oriented language, and/or scenes of excessive violence. Suitable
for adult audiences only. Rating does not signify that the film is
obscene or pornographic.
XContains extreme violence or explicit sex; suitable for adult
audiences only.
