INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE Y CABLEADO

NOTA: Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) no requiere que todos los artefactos tengan cables de tier- ra. Estos artefactos cumplen con todas las especificaciones U.L.

1.Desconecte el suministro eléctrico en la caja de fusibles para evitar la posibilidad de descarga eléctrica.

2.Enrosque los tornillos de montaje (A) en la placa de montaje universal o en la barra transversal (B) (vea la Fig. 1).

3.Fije la placa de montaje universal o la barra transversal (B) a la caja de embutir (C) con los tornillos correspondientes (D) (no incluidos).

NOTA: Los tornillos de montaje (A) deben estar nivelados para que al colgarlo, el artefacto quede derecho.

4.Identifique el color de los cables de su artefacto (vea la Fig. 2).

5.Para conectar los cables, tome el cable negro del artefacto (grupo A de la Fig. 2) y colóquelo uniformemente contra el cable negro de la caja de embutir. No retuerza los cables.

6.Coloque un conector de rosca (H) (vea la Fig. 2) sobre los cables y enrósquelo hasta que lo sienta firme. Si el conector para cables (H) se desprende fácilmente, vuelva a ajustar el conector y compruebe una vez más que la conexión esté firme.

7.Repita los pasos 7y 8 para conectar los cables blancos del artefacto (grupo B de la Fig. 2) y los de la caja de embutir.

8.Enrosque parcialmente el tornillo verde de tierra (I) en el orificio lateral (J) de la placa de montaje universal o de la barra transversal (B) (vea la Fig. 1).

9.Enrolle el cable de tierra del artefacto en el tornillo verde de tierra (I), dejando bastante cable para conectar después el cable de tierra al cable de la caja de embutir con un conector para cables (H), si corresponde.

10.Ajuste el tornillo verde de tierra (I). No lo apriete demasiado.

11.Introduzca los cables dentro de la caja de embutir (C).

INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE DEL ARTEFACTO

1.Coloque la placa posterior (K) sobre los tornillos de montaje (A) y sobre el niple de montaje

(F)(vea la Fig. 1).

2.Asegúrela en su lugar con las tuercas tapa pequeñas (L).

3.Abra la puerta con bisagras (N). Instale la(s) cubierta(s) del(de los) portalámparas (O), si cor responde.

4.Instale la(s) lámpara(s). No exceda el vataje recomendado.

5.Cierre la puerta con bisagras (N).

6.Conecte nuevamente el suministro eléctrico en la caja de fusibles.
