Removing accumulated lint
Lint can gather inside the dryer and be a fuel for fire. Lint should be removed every 2 to 3 years, or more often, depending on dryer usage. Cleaning should be done by a qualified person. If you have any questions or comments, please call our Consumer Assistance Center at

Electrical Shock Hazard
Unplug dryer before removing dryer panels.
Wear gloves when handling dryer parts.
Make sure door switch wires are not touching the dryer drum before closing the top. See page 20, Step 7.
Failure to do so can result in death, electrical shock, or serious cuts.
For ail electric dryers, or gas dryers which have a lower front access panel
