PRECAUTIONS AND GENERALRECOMMENDATIONS
Use the refrigerator compartment only for
storing fresh food and beveragesand use the
freezer compartment only for storing frozen
food, freezing fresh food and making ice
cubes.
• After installation, make sure that the
applianceis notstanding on the power supply
cable.
• Do not store glasscontainers with liquids in
the freezer since they mayburst.
Do not eat ice cubes or ice Iollies immediately
after taking them out of the freezer since they
maycause cold burns.
• Before carrying out any maintenance or
cleaning,always unplug the appliance or
disconnect the power supply.
Make sure that your appliance is not near a
heatsource.
Do not store or usegasoline or other
flammablevapours andliquids in the vicinity of
this or any other appliance. The fumes can
create a fire hazard or explosion.
• To ensure proper ventilation, leave agap on
both sides and above the appliance.
• Ensure that the vent outlets on the appliance
casingor housing unit are unobstructed in
order to allow correct air circulation.
Allappliances equipped with an ice maker or
water dispenser must be connected to a
mainswater supply that delivers potable
water only (with water pressure between 2.4
and8.3 bar (35and 120PSI)).Ice makers and/
or water dispensers not directly connected to
amains water supply must be filled with
potablewater only.
Installand level the applianceon a floor strong
enough totake its weight and in anarea
suitable for its size and use.

To avoid the risk of children beingtrapped
and therefore suffocating, do not allow them
to play or hide inside the appliance.
The power cable may only be replaced byan
authorized person.
• Do not use extension leadsor adapters.
It must bepossible to disconnect the
appliancefrom the mains by unplugging it or
bymeans of a two-pole switch fitted upline of
the socket.
Ensurethat the voltage indicated on the
appliancedata plate corresponds to the
domestic supply voltage
• Do not ingest the contents (non-toxic) of the
ice packs (if provided).
Do not place fingers or hands on the
automatic ice making mechanism while the
refrigeration is plugged in. This will help
protect you from possible injury. It will also
prevent interference with moving parts of the
ejector mechanism and the heating element
that releasesthe cubes.
• To prevent accidental child entrapment or
suffocation risk, do not remove the divider in
the top freezer basket.
Do not turn the ice maker on until it is
connected to the water supply.
